Hey there! I am SO excited about your interest in my business. My name is Kaylynn, or as you know me- ShotsByKaylynn. I am a photographer based in KCMO and, obviously, a Chiefs fan! I just graduated from high school in 2025 and am currently enrolled on the pre-nursing route.
I love appreciating the little things in life, especially through my camera. My goal is to capture memories that feel genuine, timeless, and true to you. I have a huge heart and love Jesus. My business is truly based on the foundation of Christ. I give all glory to God! When I'm not behind the camera or studying, you can usually find me hanging out with my cats or family, or leaning into my faith.
My story
SBK was founded in July 2023, but my love for photography started long before then. I’ve been taking pictures of just about everything for as long as I can remember. Once I finally bought my first “real” camera, I started taking photos every day- of everyone and everything around me.
I quickly fell in love with everything this industry brings: the people, the raw moments, the little details, and the connections I get to build with every client. Through photography, I’ve made incredible friendships and created memories I’ll always cherish. I thank God every day for the opportunities I’ve been given.
I absolutely love being a part of your special moments. Whether it’s your senior photos, your first family session, or capturing the love you and your partner share, I value and appreciate every single moment I get to document.
Our Process
01. Contact
Whenever you are ready to make your dreams come to life, fill out that contact form. I will get back to you within a few days.
02. Connect
After a few days, you will receive a message from me to discuss all of the final decisions and details for your session. You can also ask me any questions you may have.
03. The magic
On the day of our session, I will send you a message confirming everything. We will meet at your desired location and then start the process of your amazing photos.
04. The Delivery
When our time together comes to an end, give me 7-10 days for the final gallery delivery. Expect the opportunity to write a review on your experience with me after the galley is delivered.
